Once again, the Las Vegas Municipal Court will host the annual Domestic Violence Conference, on June 6 and 7, at the East Las Vegas Community Senior Center, located at 250 N. Eastern Ave.

The theme for this year’s conference is “Tears of Fears, a Child’s Perspective.” The conference will address the issues associated with domestic violence as seen through the eyes of a child, the traumatic experience of abduction and the effects it has on the family system. It will assist the participants in understanding this crime, as well as improving support services for victims.

The conference is ideal for a number of different groups including social workers, counselors, hospital staff, attorneys and judges. Participants may earn continuing education credits in a number of areas.
