Helldorado Parade 2012
It’s almost that time of year. The Helldorado Parade and Rodeo will be held May 17 – 20, 2012, at the downtown rodeo grounds which are located on Las Vegas Boulevard east to Seventh Street and from Stewart Avenue north to Mesquite. Thursday, May 17
Rodeo opening day! All rodeo performances will begin at 8 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m. with the carnival, food vendors and exhibitors open from 5 p.m. to midnight. We encourage everyone to wear PINK – Cowboys for a Cure! One hundred percent of all ticket sales from this night's rodeo will go to benefit the local Susan G. Komen foundation for breast cancer research, education, screenings and treatment.
Friday, May 18
PRCA rodeo begins 8 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m. with the carnival, food vendors and exhibitors open from 5 p.m. to midnight.
Saturday, May 19
Operation Free Ride / Armed Forces Day
1 – 4 p.m.
Downtown Rodeo Grounds
Presented by The Armed Forces Foundation and Horses4Heroes, Inc. with the Elks Lodge Las Vegas Helldorado Days
This is your day to ride a horse for free. All military personnel, veterans and families are welcome – Blue Star/Gold Star moms and families, too. Meet professional cowboys and enjoy fun for the entire family. Everyone receives a free ticket to Military Appreciation Night at the Rodeo! Helldorado Parade
5 p.m.
Downtown Fourth Street parade route between Gass and Ogden avenues. The deadline to submit an application for the parade was April 30. Parade applications now are closed.
PRCA Rodeo
Rodeo begins at 8 p.m. Carnival, food vendors and exhibitors open from 3 p.m. to midnight.
Sunday, May 20
Final day of the PRCA rodeo.
All rodeo performances begin at 8 p.m. Gates open at 5 p.m. with the carnival, food vendors and exhibitors open from 5 p.m. – midnight.

Tickets
One hundred percent of all FRIDAY-SUNDAY rodeo ticket sales will go to benefit local children and veteran charities! All production costs are covered by our local business community. Admission price to the exhibit/carnival grounds is $3; carnival rides are not included.
- Thursday night rodeo tickets:
First four rows/special flip up seating: Adults - $15, Kids ages 10 and younger - $8.
General Admission Rodeo Seating: Adults - $10, Kids ages 10 and younger - Free.
- Friday-Sunday night rodeo tickets:
First four rows/special flip up seating: Adults - $20, Kids ages 12 and younger - $15.
General Admission Rodeo Seating: Adults - $15, Kids ages 12 and younger - $8.
