Yucca Mountain Public Hearing

The Department of Energy recently released two Yucca Mountain supplementary Environmental Impact Statements (EIS) for public comment. The first is a draft EIS for the repository itself, and the second document focuses on the rail corridor and other related transportation issues. The public comment period for these environmental documents is Oct. 12 through Jan. 10, 2008.
