Enjoy Valentine’s Day With A Sweet Activity

Valentine’s Tea Party (ages 3 to 10)
Monday, Feb. 4, 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.
Fee: $6

Dress for tea and bring your favorite stuffed animal for finger sandwiches, cookies and tea.

Valentine’s Day Cookie Fun (ages 3 to 5)
Friday, Feb. 8, 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.

I Love Mommy Valentine Craft Workshop (ages 4 to 8)

Valentine’s Delight Workshop (ages 3 to15)

Participants will create a valentine mailbox and a card for someone special. Bring a shoebox.

Valentine Bouquet Workshop (ages 3 to 15)
Wednesday, Feb. 13; 4:30 to 5:30 p.m. ages 3 to 6; 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. ages 7 to 15. Fee: $15. Register by Feb. 6.

Decorate heart-shaped cookies and make sweet treats to place in a bouquet for your valentine.

Fee: $2 transportation fee plus cost of lunch and personal purchases.

Valentine’s Day Dessert Bar (ages 50+)

Celebrate Valentine’s Day with music, chocolate, romance and door prizes.

Free DoggyTines Day Celebration (all ages)
Saturday, Feb. 16, 10 a.m. to noon
Centennial Hills Park, North Buffalo Drive at Elkhorn Road, (702) 229-1705.
Families are invited to bring their beloved four-legged friends to a free celebration for a day filled with fun and free licks. This inter-generational event will host smallest and largest dog, best dog trick and owner/dog look alike contests. Have your family picture taken — with your dog, of course! Children can participate in fingerprinting by the deputy city marshals, face painting, games, tour a fire truck and receive fire hats, and meet KVBC-TV 3 Meteorologist John Fredericks and his dog LJ. Starbucks will offer refreshments and the Animal Foundation will offer pets for adoption and licensing information. All dogs must be leashed for the duration of the event except in the fenced dog park areas. All dogs should wear a current rabies tag and be up-to-date on all vaccinations. Event officials reserve the right to refuse aggressive animals. No dogs “in heat.”

Daddy/Daughter Dance (ages 3 to adult)
Saturday, Feb. 9, 4 to 6 p.m.
Fee: $15 per couple; $5 each additional child

Enjoy a special afternoon dancing to music from the past with your little girl. A photographer will be on site to preserve the memory.
