Hop Into Spring With Fun Activities

As the weather begins to warm up, plan on enjoying the many activities and events the department of Leisure Services has planned. From Easter egg hunts for the little ones to a free family festival, there is something for the entire family.

Lunch with the Easter Bunny (ages 3 to 6)
Wednesday, March 19, 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Fee: $8

Enjoy lunch, lots of eggs and surprises with the Easter Bunny.

Free 16th Annual Egg Hunt (ages 1 to 11)
Friday, March 21, 10 a.m. sharp!
Johnson Community School, 340 Villa Monterey St., (702) 229-6175.
Children will enjoy meeting the Easter Bunny and rushing across the park to pick up eggs and prizes.
 
Free Egg Hunt (ages 2 to 11)
Friday, March 21, 10 to 11 a.m.
Rafael Rivera Community Center, 2900 E. Stewart Ave., (702) 229-4600.
Bring your basket to gather colorful eggs, candy and special prizes in fun-filled contests.

Free Egg Hunt (ages walking to 11)
Friday, March 21, 10 to 11 a.m.
Charleston Heights Community School, 6438 Celeste Ave., (702) 229-4440.
Bring your basket to hunt for eggs and prizes and visit with the Easter Bunny.

Brunch with the Easter Bunny (ages 3 to 12)
Friday, March 21, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Preregistration required.
Fee: $10

Children will enjoy eating and taking pictures with the Easter Bunny and making crafts, too.

Peter Cottontail Party (ages 2 to 15)
Friday, March 21, 5 to 7 p.m.
Fee: $15
Becker Community School, 9110 Hillpointe Road, (702) 229-2482.
Children will dye eggs, eat bunny snacks, have hoppin’ egg races and watch the Peter Cottontail movie. Dress for a mess. Preregistration required.

Breakfast with the Easter Bunny (ages 2 to 6)
Saturday, March 22, 9 to 10 a.m. Preregistration required.
Fee: $10

Bring your camera for pictures with the Easter Bunny. Enjoy breakfast and make a craft to take home.
