Eighth Annual Conference To Provide Intervention Skills And Instruction For Perpetrators And Victims Of Domestic Violence
Once again, the Las Vegas Municipal Court will host the annual Domestic Violence Conference, on May 6 and 7, at the East Las Vegas Community Senior Center, located at 250 N. Eastern Ave.
The conference theme is "Keys to Effective Intervention in Domestic Violence" and it will feature hands-on training associated with the challenges that therapists, counselors and service professionals face when working with both victims and perpetrators of domestic violence. Participants will gain effective interventional skills and tools necessary to provide essential services to their clientele.
The conference is ideal for a number of different groups including social workers, counselors, hospital staff, attorneys and judges. Participants may earn continuing education credits in a number of areas.
