Southern Nevada Sept. 11 Memorial Service
Thursday, Sept. 11
6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Clark County Government Center (Amphitheater/grass seating), 500 S. Grand Central Parkway
A candlelight memorial will be held to honor those who lost their lives in the terrorist attacks on Sept. 11, 2001. The event is free and open to the public.

Recognition Of Hispanic Heritage Month

Councilman Barlow will recognize Hispanic Heritage Month with special guests representing the Hispanic community.

This health awareness fair, sponsored by the National Alliance for Hispanic Health, the Southern Nevada Health District and Telemundo, will feature information, games, music and more.  The event, which is being held in Las Vegas for the first time, will provide information to the Hispanic community through health screenings and various resources provided in Spanish.
