It's not too early to plan your entry for the 2009 Helldorado Parade. The 2009 parade is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 16 and applications  are now available online. Applications are due by April 27, 2009.

In addition to the parade, 2009 marks the return of the Helldorado Rodeo, which will be held Thursday, May 14, to Sunday, May 17, 2009. The rodeo will be held downtown between Stewart and Mesquite avenues, from Sixth to Eighth streets. Events will include the rodeo, food, carnival and merchandise vendors.
