It's not too late to saddle up for the 2009 Helldorado Parade, so grab your boots and cowboy hat and join the community’s annual celebration of our Western heritage. The 2009 parade is scheduled for 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 16 and applications are now available! Applications  are due by Monday, April 27.

In addition to the parade, 2009 marks the return of the Helldorado Rodeo, which will be held Thursday, May 14, to Sunday, May 17. The rodeo will be held between Stewart and Mesquite avenues, from Sixth to Eighth streets. For more information on the rodeo including prices and rodeo events, visit http://www.elkshelldorado.com/.

The rodeo will be a great time for the whole family. Make sure to bring your little cowpokes to the carnival and midway, and don’t forget to visit the vendors who will have fine vittles and other fine wares for purchase. More information can be found on the Helldorado Days Web site.
