At a design workshop on Nov. 30, 2011, residents provided their input on how the content that will line the new F Street bridge will be displayed. The residents chose Concept 2, which uses colored concrete and tiles to display the content. The architects took the feedback from the workshop and will come up with the design for the interpretive panels in the coming months. Construction is expected to begin mid-2012 pending funding.
