WARD 5 BACK-TO-SCHOOL FAIR AUG. 13
Please bring your children and join me for a back-to-school fair and community celebration on Saturday, Aug. 13, from 9 a.m. to noon at the Doolittle Community Center at 1950 N. J St. This is the most-anticipated Ward 5 event of the year! Many community partners and volunteers will join me to help prepare our youth for school and to make this event successful. Wristbands for children ages 5 to 12 will be distributed at 8:30 a.m., and school supplies will be handed out to them while supplies last, beginning at 9 a.m. Childhood immunization shots will be available, so BE SURE TO BRING YOUR CHILD'S HEALTH/IMMUNIZATION RECORDS in order to participate. Enjoy the face painters, vendors, music, popsicles and food while supplies last. There is still time to participate as a community vendor or volunteer! Contact my office at 229-5443 for more information.
