City Applies For A Certificate Of Appropriateness To Rehabilitate The Historic Westside School
Meeting To Be Held At 12:15 PM On Wednesday, Sept. 28
The city of Las Vegas is applying for a Certificate of Appropriateness from the city’s Historic Preservation Commission (HPC) to rehabilitate the Historic Westside School. At 12:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 28, 2011 at the Historic Fifth St. School, the HPC will hear a presentation from KME Architects regarding recommendations for the building’s use, physical rehabilitation of the historic buildings, and site improvements. If the application is approved, the city will move forward with securing funding to implement the master plan. The public is encouraged to attend the meeting. View the agenda and the staff report .
