Welcome to Councilman Beers' Ward 2 Newsletter!
Many of you have contacted our office asking when we would be sending out the Ward 2 enewsletter. This is our first issue and we will try and keep them coming with the important news for our ward on a monthly basis. Ward 2 is one of the most beautiful sections of the city, with an ever-expanding array of things to do and enjoy. We will endeavor to keep you up to date regularly.
We invite you to visit our Web page for updates and to sign up for the newsletter. Ask your neighbors and friends to sign up for the newsletter as well!
One of my joys in public service is to help the citizens of Ward 2 and our wonderful Las Vegas area as a whole. If you have a problem and would like us to look into it, then please call our office at 229-6405 or e-mail me using the links above.
Citizen of the Month Nominees
In August, Ward 2 gets to name the Citizen of the Month for the city of Las Vegas. If you know someone who helps this city and/or our ward who is worthy of consideration, please e-mail today and let us know who and why. Help us recognize the best people in our city!
