Trails Village Center ArtWalk (all ages)
Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 3-4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Free admission.
Trails Village Center, 1970 Village Center Circle, across from Summerlin Library.
Enjoy this annual fall juried show featuring fine arts and crafts, kid's art area and art demonstrations. The show features fine artworks and crafts in all mediums - mixed media, oils, watercolors, photography, metal, wood, glass, wearable art and jewelry. Nearly 100 artisan booths will create a festive outdoor marketplace. There is plenty of free, onsite parking.

Fresh 52 Autumn Harvest Festival (all ages)
Saturday, Nov. 10, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Free admission.
Tivoli Village, 400 S. Rampart Blvd.
Enjoy arts and crafts, a beer garden from Bottles & Burgers, live entertainment, chef demonstrations, a pie eating contest, petting zoo, photos with Elmo and face painting.

Veterans Day Parade
(all ages)
Sunday, Nov. 11, 10 a.m.
Downtown on Fourth Street, from Gass to Ogden Avenue.
Celebrate Veterans Day by enjoying the largest parade honoring our veterans west of the Mississippi. For more details, visit the parade website.

Friday, Nov. 23 
10:30 a.m. – Santa’s Arrival Parade at Tivoli Village.
11 a.m. to 7 p.m. –  Santa’s House & Holiday Train Rides.
2 to 4 p.m. – Free holiday movie matinee on the Via Reale outdoor big screen, featuring PG-rated “Elf,” starring Will Ferrell & James Caan, and complimentary popcorn.

“Beers with Beers” (adults)

Chicago Brewing Company, in Village Square at 2201 S. Ft. Apache Road.

The Lakes Festival of Lights and Boat Parade (all ages)
Saturday, Dec. 8, noon to 6 p.m.
Free admission.
Lake East Drive at Lake Sahara Drive Intersection, next to Lake Town Center commercial plaza.
Please join me for this neighborhood festival and boat light parade. The public will be able to partake in all the family entertainment (singing, dancing, bands and celebrities), visit Santa Claus, petting zoo and pony rides, arts and crafts show, car show, food, exhibits and electric boat parade. They even made me grand marshal for the parade! The street will be blocked off and parking will be available in the Citibank parking lot. For more information, call Greg Toussaint at 256-9998.

The Neon Museum La Concha Visitors Center officially opened Oct. 27 at 770 Las Vegas Blvd. North. Hours are Monday-Saturday, 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Now tours of the Neon Boneyard, which last approximately 45 minutes, are available to the public every half-hour starting at 10 a.m., with the last tour departing at 4 p.m., every Monday through Saturday. Tickets are $18 for adults; $12 for students, senior citizens, veterans and Nevada residents with valid identification. Children ages 6 and under enjoy free admission. Tour capacity is limited. To ensure admission on the date and time desired, visitors are advised to purchase their tickets in advance through the Neon Museum’s website.

The Nevada Ombudsman’s office gives a complete series of classes each month on operations and responsibilities of homeowners associations. For November, there are 10 classes on various HOA topics.
