App Allows Users To Report Problems and Find Parking

The city’s new iPhone mobile app available at the App Store, allows users to report a neighborhood problem or need assistance locating parking downtown.

Citizens can report or check the status of any problem in the Las Vegas city limits, such as graffiti, a pothole, out of service streetlight, etc. The app can be accessed while people are out in the community and when they see a problem.  The alerts are received in real time by crews out in the field, so if, for example, a resident were to send a problem about graffiti, crews in the field would receive the notice and could respond to the area.

The app also includes a parking link that will show a map of city-operated public parking areas as well as the number of spaces, rates, and hours of operation. The app will also provide driving directions to city parking.
