D STREET ENHANCEMENT PROJECT UPDATE
The roadway work currently in progress on D Street from Washington Avenue to Owens Avenue is part of a city of Las Vegas enhancement project that began in March and is scheduled for completion by the end of this year. The project is funded by the city as well as the Federal Highway Authority and the Nevada Department of Transportation. The project includes new pavement, landscaping, wider sidewalks, bike lanes, street lights and more that will result in a beautified, inviting and safer corridor for pedestrians, bicyclists and motor vehicles alike.
