“City Beat” on KCLV-TV Channel 2, the city’s government access channel, features a story on the Vegas Roots community garden that begins airing Sept. 14. The city of Las Vegas offers opportunities for community gardening at several city locations, including the Doolittle Community Center Community Garden, Lieburn Senior Center and Centennial Hills Active Adult Center. Las Vegas was recently named No. 2 in a “Best Cities for Urban Gardening” blog article by DIVYA online.
