Drink Coffee, Get In Shape With Mayor Goodman
Residents looking to meet and converse with Mayor Oscar B. Goodman in a casual setting will have the opportunity from 7:30 to 9 a.m. on Friday, January 20, at Starbucks, located at 7101 W. Craig Road, at Tenaya.
This month’s Coffee With The Mayor is taking place in Ward 6, and will also be attended by Councilman Steven D. Ross. Residents who have issues to discuss or who would simply like to meet the mayor and councilman are invited to attend.
Following the meeting at Starbucks, Mayor Goodman will be available to speak with constituents from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. during his Open Door Meeting in council chambers, located at 400 Stewart Ave.

In addition to attending Coffee and the Mayor and the Open Door Meeting, adults ages 50 and older are invited to join the mayor for a free fitness powerwalk on Tuesday, January 31, at the Doolittle Senior Center, located at 1950 North J Street. Participants will meet at 8 a.m. at the center entrance.
“Fitness is important for people of all ages, especially seniors,” Mayor Goodman said. “I encourage our seniors to participate in this walk to help them get on the right track to good health.”
