Grab your four-legged friends and head to Jaycee Park for pet licenses and vaccinations. This upcoming event will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 14, near the intersection of St. Louis and Atlantic avenues.

This event brings vaccination, licensing and microchip services into the community through the Regional Mobile Emergency Animal Shelter. The shelter is a mobile veterinary clinic and is designed for use in emergencies to evacuate pets and help reunite pets with their owners. The shelter includes a surgical suite and examination area that can be used to vaccinate animals and to insert microchips that can be used to track lost pets.

Vaccination costs range from $8 to $25 with vaccine packages ranging from $30 to $35. Pet licensing fees range $5 to $25. For this event only, the first 25 people who purchase a vaccination package at the clinic will receive a free microchip for their pet.
