Preference For Recycled Content

Under Nevada Revised Statutes 332.065, the city may give preference during the bid process to the purchase of recycled products.

The city will consider recycled products during its bid process by:

Giving preference to recycled products if (1) the product offered is an acceptable substitute for the original non-recycled product specified, (2) is available within a reasonable time and (3) costs no more than the non-recycled product.

Giving preference to recycled products if (1) the product is an acceptable substitute for the original non-recycled product specified, (2) is available within a reasonable time, and (3) costs no more than five percent (5%) more than the non-recycled product.
