Whether you’re going out with a person for the first time or have been married for years, date ideas can be difficult to think of. Which is why we did the work for you and came up with five date ideas that are reasonably priced and take advantage of all the great things Las Vegas has to offer.

Opt Outside

With sunshine most of the year, there are a lot of outdoor activities to take advantage of from hiking at Red Rock Canyon to walking through one of our city parks. Enjoy the mountain air at Mount Charleston or take a boat out on Lake Mead. If you’re in the adventure mood, there are a number of other state and national parks just hours away including Valley of Fire, Zion and Bryce Canyon.

Get Lost in Art

From the murals downtown to exhibits at hotels and local galleries, the valley is filled with artwork to get lost in. Don’t know where to start? Maybe with the city’s current exhibits or finding all the Life is Beautiful street art from last year’s festival.

Museum Hop

Museums may not be the first thing that come to mind when you think of Las Vegas, but it should be. We do things a little differently around here, including museums. There’s something for everyone: learn about the history of organized crime in America at The Mob Museum; see the signs from old casinos and other businesses at Neon Museum; view paranormal pieces at Zak Bagans’ The Haunted Museum; and, experience the world’s first immersive cannabis art museum at Cannabition. Want more options? Read New York Magazine’s picks.

Downtown Photo Shoot

Hire a local photographer or grab your phone and create your own photo shoot in downtown. From the artwork on the walls to the neon signs, downtown has lots of Instagrammable spots. Check out this, this and this for some inspiration.

Eat Local

Las Vegas is one big melting pot and you can find just about any cuisine in the valley. So support local, but eating local. Visit your favorite restaurant or one you’ve been wanting to try and go enjoy breakfast, lunch, dinner, a snack, dessert or anything! We have you covered on some local places for donuts, sandwiches, pizza and pancakes.
