The city of Las Vegas offers fine arts classes at several locations that are designed to mold the next generation of artists in a guided, dynamic and studio-style program tailored to the needs of each student. These open-enrollment classes encourage exploration while creating the opportunity for each student to experience a diverse performing and visual arts education.   • Rainbow Company Youth Theatre Drama Class Registration (ages 4-17)

    Classes taught by award-winning Rainbow Company staff. Courses offered include Story Drama, Performance Fundamentals, Acting Essentials for Youth, and Acting Skills for Teens. Classes are in demand and space is limited; early registration recommended.
  • West Las Vegas Arts Center Class Registration (ages 2-adult)

Military Employment Summit (adults)

Ward 4 Document Shredding Event/Medication Disposal

This event provides worry-free document destruction for Ward 4 residents, limited to five boxes or bundles per car. Also bring expired or unwanted medications for secure disposal. Volunteers will unload your car. Shredding services will be available until truck capacity is reached. U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West: Travis Brass (all ages)

The only active duty Air Force Band west of the Rockies, the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West consists of 60 talented airmen-musicians stationed at Travis Air Force Base. The Travis Brass quintet is one of its several ensembles that have been delighting audiences in the western United States for several decades. Featuring two trumpets, a horn, a euphonium and a tuba, these five professionals are dedicated to telling the story of the Air Force through music. Travis Brass works in support of the 60th Air Mobility Wing, an integral part of America's humanitarian response to natural disasters at home and abroad. The group demonstrates amazing virtuosity, marvelous showmanship and a charming personality that delivers a patriotic spirit.
