Las Vegas Planning Commission will meet on Tuesday, Oct. 22, at 6 p.m. Below are some agenda items that may be of interest. Get the agenda. Watch live at kclv.tv/live. 

Agenda Items 10 to 12 – Rancho Drive and Red Coach Avenue: These requests are for a General Plan Amendment from Service Commercial to General Commercial, a petition to Vacate a drainage easement and a Site Development Plan for new development. Staff recommends approval.

Agenda Items 14 to 16 – Charleston Boulevard and Fourth Street: These requests are for a Special Use Permit, a petition to vacate an access easement and a Site Development Plan for a new downtown mixed-use project with 501 residential units and 20,313 square feet of commercial space. Staff recommends approval.

Agenda Items 17 & 18 – 916 Fremont St.: These requests are for a Special Use Permit and Site Development Plan for an event space that includes food trucks located on what is currently a surface parking lot facing Fremont Street. Staff recommends approval.

Agenda Item 21 – Colorado Avenue and Commerce Street: This is a request for a Special Use Permit for a new Urban Lounge with outdoor seating in the Arts District. Staff recommends approval.  

Agenda Items 23 & 24 – Kindle Corner Way and Carriage Hill Drive: These requests are for a Vacation of access easement and Tentative Map for a new 137-lot single-family subdivision in Summerlin, Village 21. Staff recommends approval.

Agenda Item 25 – 801 S. Main St.: This is a request for a Site Development Plan for the renovation of a 7,174 square-foot commercial building with a roof deck and outdoor patio in the Arts District. Staff recommends approval.

Agenda Items 36 to 40 – Iron Mountain Road and Skye Village Road: These requests are for a General Plan Amendment, Rezoning, two Special Use Permits and a Sire Development Plan for a 108,000 square-foot Shopping Center in the northwest. Staff recommends denial.

Agenda Items 42 to 44 – Charleston Boulevard and Hillside Place: These requests are for a Site Development Plan for a 5,032 square-foot commercial building with waivers of landscaping standards, Parking Variance and Residential Adjacency Variance. Staff recommends denial.

Agenda Item 46 – 9140 W. Sahara Ave.: This request is for a Special Use Permit for a 4,800 square-foot marijuana dispensary. Staff recommends approval.

Agenda Item 47 – Lake Mead Boulevard and Decatur Boulevard: This request is for a Site Development Plan for an amendment to a previously approved Site Plan for a 4,037 square-foot restaurant with drive-through with waivers of landscaping and building orientation standards. Staff recommends denial.

Agenda Item 48 – Open Space Ordinance: This is a proposed Text Amendment to repeal the Open Space ordinance. Staff has no recommendation.
