The public can now submit comments virtually for all city of Las Vegas public meetings. To do so, email meetingcomments@lasvegasnevada.gov. The subject line MUST contain the meeting name, date and item number the comment pertains to. Please note a time limit may be imposed on the reading of comments as is done during meetings when people appear in-person. 

Public Comment at City Council Meetings

The public is encouraged to send comments and written objections electronically prior to the meeting via e-mail to meetingcomments@lasvegasnevada.gov.  Emails must contain the meeting name, date and item number in the subject.  Emails received up to an hour before the meeting will be considered public record, read during the meeting where appropriate and will be included in the backup.  A time limit may be imposed. 

Once the City Council meeting starts, online comments can also be submitted via www.lasvegasnevada.gov/councilcomment.  All comments received during the meeting will be considered public record, read where appropriate and included in the backup.  Comments received on a Public Hearing item after action has been taken will not be read but will be included in the backup.  A time limit may be imposed.
