City Council To Recognize 2014 Patriot Tour
City Council Also Scheduled To Hear Proposed Alcohol Ordinance


       The Las Vegas City Council is scheduled to recognize the 2014 Patriot Tour at the Wednesday, July 16, City Council meeting that will begin following the 8:30 Redevelopment Agency meeting in City Hall council chambers, located at 495 S. Main St.

       Mayor Pro Tem Stavros S. Anthony will recognize the 2014 Patriot Tour, a charitable organization raising funds for wounded veterans. The Patriot Tour is a group of motorcyclists who travel around the country with an American flag, raising money for those injured while serving our country.

       In addition, the City Council will consider a new ordinance that would prohibit the opening of a bag containing alcoholic beverages purchased on the Fremont Street Experience.

       The City Council will also recognize the Citizens of the Month and the Employee of the Month during the ceremonial portion of the agenda.
