Resources

Parking Meter Payment

The city of Las Vegas now offers two contactless payment options for parking meters with Flowbird and ParkWhiz. These two options allow for a seamless and effective way to manage your parking and avoid expired meter citations from your mobile phone.

Parking-Payment-Closeup

Flowbird app is a free, easy-to-use parking app. GPS is used to automatically identify where you are parked instead of looking for a meter zone. Receive smart notifications during your parking sessions to avoid expiration. The app can also reserve parking in our garages.

ParkWhiz uses QR codes and NFC tags and does not require users to download an app. Users can scan the QR code or hold their phone near the sticker located on each meter and garage. The QR code/ NFC tag will launch the ParkWhiz mobile website to select time and payment.

Food Trucks

Our mobile food vendor program provides a designated parking space for food trucks to do business downtown at 200 Lewis Ave. in front of the Regional Justice Center. We host a lottery every six months (January / July) for businesses to select a date to be in the space.  Proof of a valid Mobile Food Vendor business license and a registration fee is required.  Contact CLVFoodtruck@lasvegasnevada.gov for additional information.
