Other striking architectural features can be found in and around the building including the backlit sculpted glass "waterfall" staircase found in the lobby, 33 solar trees that shade the plaza in front of City Hall and artistically demonstrate the city's commitment to renewable energy, and LED lighting on the front of the building that can display artistic patterns.
