The Office of Government and Community Affairs provides a voice for the city in Washington D.C. and Carson City, Nevada by focusing advocacy efforts to advance the city’s federal and state agenda and engage government agencies. The city works toward strengthening city, state, and federal relationships and participating with the U.S. Conference of Mayors, the National League of Cities and the Nevada League of Cities and Municipalities.
Diversity Outreach
The city of Las Vegas is preparing a multi-year Language Access Plan (LAP) to serve as a guide for ongoing language access efforts. The LAP will function as a living document regularly updated to help enhance services and improve access for limited english proficient (LEP) community members.
Public feedback and community engagement will support the development and future updates of the LAP. Please see below to review a draft of the LAP and provide comments / feedback via our Language Access Survey.
