Combination Inspector - This position performs the full range of technical inspections of commercial and residential buildings during various stages of construction and remodeling to ensure compliance with applicable architectural and structural codes, ordinances and regulations; works with developers, contractors and homeowners to maintain code requirements and resolve problems relating to code compliance.
Lifeguard - By joining our team as a lifeguard, we are excited to offer up to an $800 bonus based on number of hours worked. This is an hourly level, part-time position. Scheduled hours for this position are limited to 19 hours or less per week (Shift will vary based on the needs of the programs and facility). Hourly employees are also limited to 1,560 hours of work in any 18 month period.
Special Inspections Auditor - This is an advanced journey level building inspector. This position will perform complex technical special inspections auditing and enforcing compliance with structural codes, regulations, ordinances and referenced standards; works with developers, superintendents, contractors and special inspection agencies to maintain code requirements and resolve problems related to code compliance.

Aquatics Hiring Fair
The city will be hiring pool staff for its six pools, including lifeguards, water safety instructors, pool managers, cashiers and laborers. For lifeguards, the city offers up to an $800 bonus based on number of hours worked. In addition, pay rates for these positions have increased, and if hired employees will be compensated for required lifeguard certifications and enjoy free access to city facilities and gyms.

Safekey Hiring Event
Safekey offers opportunities for learning beyond the school bell and is designed for children ages 5-11 attending kindergarten through fifth grade. It is offered at 63 elementary schools within the city on days when the Clark County School District holds classes.
