To stay current with business trends and practices, state law and federal law, the city of Las Vegas occasionally processes amendments to Title 6 of the Las Vegas Municipal Code which governs business taxes, licenses, and regulations. In accordance with NRS Chapter 237, trade associations, owners and officers of businesses which are likely to be affected by a proposal, as well as other interested persons, may submit comments, data, or arguments to the city concerning whether any of the provisions of the proposal will:
- Impose a direct and significant economic burden upon a business; or
- Directly restrict the formation, operation, or expansion of a business.
Proposed Town Hall Meeting for Fremont Street Experience Street Performers

A proposed town hall meeting to discuss ideas to improve Fremont Street Experience lottery registration and performance circles is currently being scheduled. A survey is available to get feedback on the preferred date and time of the town hall meeting.

A separate email invitation will be sent once the time and date of the meeting have been finalized.
Any current proposed amendments are listed below. These may be viewed electronically at the links provided or reviewed in-person at the Business License Division office on the sixth floor of City Hall at 495 S. Main St.
VIEW the proposed changes to amend Las Vegas Municipal Code Chapter 6.50 to allow restaurants that are licensed to sell alcoholic beverages for on-premise consumption to apply for an endorsement to sell alcoholic beverages as a to-go item, in connection with a meal, provided such alcoholic beverages are in sealed, tamper-evident containers.
