Public Meeting
Wednesday, June 24, 5:30 p.m.
Desert Pines High School Lecture Hall, 3800 Harris Ave., Las Vegas, Nevada 89110.
The meeting is open to the public with all property owners within 500 feet of the proposed Redevelopment Area 3 formally notified through mail. The meeting will be offered in English and Spanish, with the PowerPoint split in two, as well as having translators available through headsets.
Adopted in 2023, one of the key recommendations from the Nuestro Futuro, East Las Vegas Special Area Plan was to evaluate East Las Vegas as a new redevelopment area. Adopting a new redevelopment area will help encourage reinvestment into the community through the city redevelopment funds/incentives and allow additional development coordination.
This meeting is an informational presentation to provide the public more information, answer any questions, and receive feedback as this project moves forward. The item is scheduled to be heard for consideration by the Planning Commission on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, and tentatively scheduled for the Redevelopment Agency/City Council agenda Wednesday, July 15, 2026.
