Notary
The City Clerk's office offers notary services between the hours of 7:30
a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. Fees are set by the Secretary of State and debit or credit cards are the preferred method of payment. If
paying with cash, please bring exact change. The fee for an acknowledgement
is $15.00 for the first signature of each signer and $7.50 for each
additional signature of that signer. The fee for a jurat is $15.00 for each
signature on the affidavit. Certified copies are available for $7.50 per
document and administering an oath or affirmation without a signature is
$7.50 per oath. We reserve the right to refuse to perform any notary
services.

Appeals
All appeals to the City Council are filed in the City Clerk's office.
Appeals are accepted on decisions of the Planning Commission and of the Planning Department regarding licensing, building and code enforcement
issues. Decisions of the City Council are final action. Appeals should be
filed in person as a notification fee may be required.
Protests and Approvals
Notification postcards or written public comments regarding the support or
protest of items to be heard by the City Council may be faxed to the City Clerk's office at
702-382-4803. Please be sure
to clearly indicate the meeting date and item number the comments pertain
to.
Postcards and comments received after an agenda posts are not reflected
online until after the meeting; however, the comments are
made available to governing body members for their consideration prior to the meeting.
Any comments of support or protest received for items to be heard by the Planning Commission will be forwarded to the Planning Department or can be
faxed directly to 702-464-7499.
