Rancho Drive – Sahara Avenue to Charleston Boulevard
The city of Las Vegas, Regional Transportation Commission of Southern Nevada, and Lumen are partnering to bring street improvements to Rancho Drive between Sahara Avenue and Charleston Boulevard.
Surface improvements will include:
- New sidewalk and walkways
- New pavement with refreshed signage and striping
- New medians with landscaping and irrigation at select locations
- ADA & PROWAG pedestrian crossings and ramps
- New traffic signal infrastructure and upgrades to LED streetlights
Subsurface improvements will include:
- Water line and storm drain installation
- Sewer manhole upgrades
- Intelligent transportations systems (ITS) infrastructure
- Undergrounding of existing overhead power and cable lines

Construction Hours: Monday-Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m., with occasional night work and weekends

Traffic control restrictions will be in place through the duration of the project. A minimum of one lane in each direction will remain open on Rancho Drive, Rancho Lane, Tonopah Drive and business access/resident access will be maintained at all times. Businesses or residents whose access may be temporarily affected by construction will be notified by the contractor. Construction may require temporary closures of some bus stops.
