The city of Las Vegas has launched a community engagement and outreach effort in a targeted area of Ward 3 known as the Rafael Rivera neighborhood as part of a Neighborhood Revitalization Strategy Area. The engagement effort empowers the community to determine the future of the neighborhood.
The revitalization strategy explores the neighborhood’s needs and supports a healthy and prosperous environment going forward.

Listos y Seguros (Ready & Safe)
Listos y Seguros, or Ready & Safe, is a one-year pilot project to address crime and public security, while building public awareness of and assistance with crime prevention. The program is an opportunity to build trust between the community, public safety agencies and the city of Las Vegas.
The program is a direct result of input from the community identifying their top concerns for the area as safety and security, cleanliness and opportunities to build community pride.
The city of is collaborating with the Clark County School District Police Department, the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department and other partners, to deliver the program.
Previous Plans
Previous planning efforts have helped to define the needs in the study area, and identify improvements desired in the public realm. This planning effort will expand the scope of focus to include social, economic and physical programs to support the neighbors.
