$20 In Downtown Las Vegas

Join us to do Las Vegas on a budget.

How Far Can $20 Go on Fremont Street? Let’s Find Out!

Exploring Las Vegas on a budget? We set out with just $20 on Fremont Street to see how much delicious food we could get—and the results did not disappoint. From pizza and beer to shrimp cocktails and doughnuts, here’s how far your money can go in downtown Las Vegas.

Pizza & Beer at Evil Pie – $8

We kicked things off at Evil Pie, a pizza haven on Fremont East. Their pizza and beer combo set us back just $8, making it a solid deal for a quick and tasty bite. While we couldn’t enjoy the beer on the clock, we’ll raise a slice to you instead!

Coney Dog at American Coney Island – $4.85

Next, we made our way to American Coney Island for a classic Coney dog. At $4.85, this Detroit-style hot dog, loaded with chili, mustard and onions, was a satisfying (and messy) addition to our budget-friendly feast.

Shrimp Cocktail at Lanai Express – $1.99

No trip to Fremont is complete without a 99-cent shrimp cocktail, but since prices have gone up, we settled for the next best thing—a $1.99 shrimp cocktail from Lanai Express inside the Fremont Hotel & Casino. Fresh, chilled, and packed with flavor, it’s a steal for seafood lovers.

Doughnuts at Pinkbox – $3.85

Finally, we wrapped up our food tour at Pinkbox Doughnuts, known for its over-the-top, Vegas-themed treats. We grabbed a Vegas doughnut for $3.85, the perfect sweet ending to our under-$20 adventure.

The Verdict

For $19.69, we managed to score pizza, beer, a hot dog, shrimp cocktail and a doughnut—proving that you don’t need to spend big to eat well in downtown Las Vegas. Fremont Street is full of hidden gems that won’t break the bank, making it a must-visit for food lovers on a budget.

How Far Can $20 Go in the Arts District?

The 18b Las Vegas Arts District is known for its vibrant food and drink scene, but can you enjoy a full day of eats with just $20? We put it to the test and made four delicious stops—all without breaking the bank!

Coffee at Bungalow Coffee Co. $4

Every adventure starts with caffeine, so we hit Bungalow Coffee Co. for an iced coffee. At $4, it was the perfect way to fuel up for the day ahead.

A Mystery Beer at Rebar $3

Next up, we were in the mood for a drink—with a twist. Enter Rebar and its $3 mystery beer. No hints, no clues—just a cold one served with an air of suspense. Was it good? Some mysteries are best left unsolved!

Pretzel Bites at Able Baker $5

After drinks, we needed a snack, so we stopped by Able Baker Brewing for $5 happy hour pretzel bites. Warm, soft and perfectly salted—definitely a win.

Sushi at Yu-Or-Mi Sushi $7

To finish off our budget-friendly food tour, we splurged on crispy rice with salmon at Yu-Or-Mi Sushi for $7. Our chopstick skills were questionable, but the food was top-tier.

The Verdict

For just $19, we managed to enjoy coffee, a drink, a snack and sushi—proving that the Arts District is a foodie paradise, even on a budget. Looking for affordable eats in Las Vegas? This neighborhood is a must-visit.
