A Taste of Hispanic Heritage Month

Enjoy a wide array of authentic restaurants!

Happy Hispanic Heritage Month! In the city of Las Vegas, we celebrate Hispanic heritage every day with our wide array of authentic restaurants. In honor of the momentous occasion, we’ve highlighted three of the many mouth-wateringly delicious eateries that we highly encourage you to try.

Viva Las Arepas

Venture down to Viva Las Arepas to discover a true taste of Venezuela. This restaurant serves an assortment of arepas and empanadas, from chicken to beef to pork. These arepas may look little as they are about the size of a street taco, but they are the definition of being small but mighty. Take a little trip to their location by The Strat and give their arepas a try. (P.S. order the fried plantains on the side!)

Lima Limon

Flavorful seafood plates, fries, rice dishes and llamas– what more could you want? To be clear, the llamas are definitely not on the menu, they are adorable life-size, furry decorations that greet you on your way through the door. This restaurant, nestled near Decatur Boulevard and Alta Drive, provides a colorful variety of Peruvian dishes for guests. Their pollo saltado, a Peruvian chicken stir-fry, is packed with flavor and is rightfully a fan-favorite.

Sofrito Rico

Empanadas, potato balls, fried plantains and more– Sofrito Rico is serving up a heavenly taste of Puerto Rican food. This restaurant’s menu is teeming with seemingly countless dishes that all fall nothing short of delicious. Next time you’re in the area, sit down for a meal or take a dish to-go to experience authentic Puerto Rican cuisine.
