Las Vegas City Council will meet on Wednesday, Dec. 7, following the Redevelopment Agency meeting. Below are some agenda items that may be of interest. Get the agenda. Watch live at kclv.tv/live

Agenda Item 5 – Oath of Office Administered to Elected Officials: Francis Allen-Palenske and Nancy Brune officially will be sworn into office. Allen-Palenske was elected to serve the constituents of Ward 4, which includes some of the western areas of the city and portions of Summerlin. Brune was elected to represent Ward 6, which is the northwest portion of the city and includes areas like Skye Canyon and Providence.

Agenda Items 26 & 27 (RDA Items 4 & 5) – Multifamily Residential Unit Incentive Program 1410 & 1416  S. Casino Blvd.: City Council will vote on assisting 1410 S Casino Center LLC and 1416 S Casino Center LLC with the cost of improvements to the property located at 1410 and 1416 S. Casino Center Blvd.

Agenda Item 28 – 1036 N. Rancho Drive: Between July 13 and Sept. 21, 2022, the licensee and its owners engaged in a regular and continuing course of illegal conduct by selling and administering dangerous prescription drugs to the public, without a license or medical authorization of any kind, and in violation of its business license, thereby endangering the health, safety and welfare of the citizens of Las Vegas. City Council will address this complaint and discuss potential disciplinary action.

Agenda Item 34 – Citywide Strategic Plan Update: The city presented its 2020 Citywide Strategic Plan to the City Council, outlining its priorities, initiatives and goals through 2025. Over the last two years, city departments have focused on programs highlighting the three main priorities adopted by the City Council: Public Safety, Healthcare and Diversify Economy. This report serves as the city's annual update in fulfilling the strategies and goals under these priorities during Fiscal Year 2022. In addition, the online dashboard was created to share Strategic Plan Performance data with city residents and other stakeholders on a quarterly basis.v
