Since its debut in 2021, Meow Wolf's Omega Mart has enchanted over one million guests with its mind-bending immersive experiences. Meow Wolf is also committed to fostering vibrant communities. With their support, we are launching a new partnership with local artist Iandry Randriamandroso to paint a mural at Police Memorial Skate Park.
Before Iandry puts brush to wall, we want your input! Join us on February 23 from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at the Durango YMCA for a workshop where you can help shape the design of this community masterpiece. Whether you're an art enthusiast, a community advocate, or simply curious, this is your chance to make your mark on Las Vegas's cultural landscape.
Iandry Randriamandroso is more than just an artist – he's a visionary dedicated to creating art that transcends boundaries and inspires change. With a background in graphic and mixed media art, Iandry's work focuses on environmental and social subjects, aiming to spark meaningful conversations and drive positive action. A graduate of St. John's University with a BFA and the Maryland Institute College of Art with an MA in Community Arts, Iandry brings a wealth of knowledge and passion to his projects. His goal? To create art that is not only visually stunning but also inclusive and accessible to everyone. Through workshops, presentations, and mural projects, Iandry uses his talents to uplift communities and champion social justice causes.
Join us as we come together to celebrate art, community, and collaboration. Let's paint a brighter future together – see you at the workshop!
