We have many art exhibitions to enjoy—all free and open to the public! Here’s a list of art installations downtown and in the Historic Westside to visit.

Public Employee Art Exhibition- The Chamber Art Gallery, 495 S. Main St.

The Chamber Gallery, located on the second floor of Las Vegas City Hall, is currently displaying artwork from public employees across the valley. Almost half a dozen departments and municipalities are represented in the gallery, including the city of Henderson, the city of Las Vegas, Clark County, and the Clark County School District.

From sculptures and collages to digital art and portraits, there's a little bit of everything to explore! Artworks cover a range of topics, from the quirky and mundane, to the nightmarish and bizarre.

The organizers change out the artwork every year, so there's always something new to see! This year's exhibition is running until January 29, 2026, so stop by City Hall and check it out while you still can!

Symphony Park, 361 Symphony Park Ave.

Nestled on the border of Ward 5, Symphony Park is shaping up to be a hub of art and culture. The park features several fun sculptures to explore and take photos with, like "Pipe Dream", designed by Las Vegas sculptor Tim Bavington in 2011, and "Stance" designed by New York artist Albert Paley in 2021. The Park features a winding walking path and benches- perfect for an afternoon stroll or quiet lunch away from the office. And since Symphony Park is next to the Smith Center and a short walk away from the Discovery Children's Museum, it's a wonderful way to begin or end a day filled with exploration, music, and discovery!

A short walk can also take you to the next art installation on our list, "Synergy" by Larry Domsky, in front of the newly opened AC Element Hotel in Symphony Park. This 19-foot tall, stainless-steel sculpture welcomes everyone to the new development and to Symphony Park and makes a beautiful addition to the area’s flourishing art installations.

Legacy Park, 1600 Mount Mariah Drive

Next up is Legacy Park, a beautiful, walkable outdoor history museum on the Westside. The park pays tribute to people whose work paved the way for the Historic Westside, from attorneys and business owners to philanthropists and academics. There are also public art displays to see while you're taking a stroll and reading about the park's inductees.

“Queen of the Arts” - West Las Vegas Art Center, 947 W. Lake Mead Blvd.

Last, but not least, “Queen of the Arts” at the West Las Vegas Art Center spans across the driveway into the center’s parking lot. The two 15-foot-tall sculptures are red, gray, and yellow, and appear to be profiles of a traditional African queen. The sculptures are decorated with dancers, musicians, and art and theatre symbols that are visible on both sides. Unveiled in 2021, this installation pays tribute to the beauty, art, music, and culture that make the Historic Westside a cornerstone of art and creativity in the city of Las Vegas.
