The first stage of a future concept for Huntridge Circle Park near Maryland Parkway and Charleston in downtown Las Vegas has been approved by the City Council. Here are some important things to know about the concept that is under consideration; future stages of approval by the City Council will be necessary, and include an opportunity for public feedback, before the concept officially comes to life at the park.
A new children's garden would comprise 20 percent of the existing park, which was approved by the City Council in November, and feature new landscaping and play equipment.

As a focal point, the luckey climber, based off the one currently found at Downtown Summerlin, would delight children of all ages at the park.
The other 80 percent of the park would be designated as an art park with numerous art installations that would change periodically to serve as an art destination for locals and visitors alike.
