For those who forget to get their special someone a gift for Valentine's Day, a pop-up roadside shop can be a life-saver. The city of Las Vegas wants to help these temporary businesses to get the right permitting to ensure that they can operate legally as we head toward the most romantic day of the year.
There are three main steps for temporary businesses to operate legally.
- First, visit NVSilverflume.gov to register for a business license with the State of Nevada.
- Second, if your business is selling edible items visit the Southern Nevada Heath District for the proper health permits.
- Finally, reach out to the city of Las Vegas to obtain a temporary commercial permit at www.lasvegasnevada.gov/business.
