Republic Services Feeds Employees
"Being that Republic Services is an essential business, we understand the importance of not only serving and supporting our residents but our front line employees as well. Each and every day the men and women of Republic hit the streets to make sure the trash and recycling gets picked up. We have been providing meals for our employees and their families each week. In doing so, we not only support our employees, but the employees and businesses of the places we order our food from. Providing nearly 1100 meals two times per week is our way of showing appreciation for our employees and our community partners."

Painted Desert Neighborhood Comes Together
"Through Next Door Painted Desert and the surrounding communities I have seen a lot of people rise to the occasion and help their fellow man. Folks have offered masks to the elderly or people with compromised immune systems, farm fresh eggs, toilet paper sharing, hand sanitizer, running errands or shopping, free materials to folks sewing masks and lots of moral support. Gregory Gray told us about Shopping Angels and Helping Hands. I personally shop regularly for 2 housebound elderly families and 2x only I delivered food and supplies out of my pantry to strangers. With my daughter laid off and my job coming to a halt at the moment that is all I can offer. We have a great community and the City of Las Vegas is doing all they can as well. Thank you."
Bringing Dental Health To The Community
"Sarah Waghorn & Ameritas Dental took many boxes of toothbrushes and toothpaste that were stored in their office for open enrollment meetings and distributed them to Nevada Partnership for Homeless Youth, Jewish Family Services, Boys Town and Hopelink of Southern NV. All these groups are delivering/providing supplies to our most vulnerable citizens. The supplies could have sat there in the office all through the shut down and no one would have said a word. Instead, the heart shown by Sarah and Ameritas to get them out to the community where they could do some good is what #VegasStronger is all about."
Pop Up Food Pantry
"Dr. Nick Liu hosted a pop up food pantry at Desert Plaza senior citizen apartment complex. The residents usually get their food at a local Lutheran church that has closed. The residents are also scared to leave their homes during these unprecedented times. Anyone who wants to help can drop off non perishable items, hygiene items or adult diaper at 217 S Maryland Parkway."
LMCA Prek Car Parade
"LMCA staffs drove to each prek students home to do a car parade and remind them that they are in their prayers and mind."
