Opening soon, Las Vegas Civic Center is a new development that includes new office and retail space as well as a large plaza for gatherings and events in the heart of downtown.
Located immediately south of City Hall, Civic Center provides new office space for city of Las Vegas staff and nonprofit organizations, as well as an art gallery and food concessions spread out over two separate buildings.
Expected tenants include Las Vegas Chamber of Commerce, Workforce Connections and two additional restaurants. The Public Meeting Room will host many official board meetings, committee meetings, commission meetings and ceremonies.
Within walking distance to Fremont Street Experience, the Municipal Court and Regional Justice Center, the city of Las Vegas Civic Center is a world-class office and retail development. Designed by LGA Architecture and built by CORE Construction, the Civic Center encompasses an entire city block bordered by Main Street, Goodman Way, First Street and Bonneville Avenue.
The Carolyn G. Goodman Plaza will provide much needed green space near the 18b Arts District downtown. Dozens of events from concerts to farmers markets will be held regularly throughout the year. The outdoor plaza was designed for hosting many public events and represents the largest public art project in the city’s history, which emphasizes the city’s commitment to investing in culture, creativity and the community.
