The days leading up to Halloween are filled with free and low-cost activities for children and fun seekers of all ages. Find something safe and fun to do below with these Las Vegas Halloween events. All activities are subject to change. All centers and city of Las Vegas offices are closed Oct. 31, in observance of Nevada Day.
Ward 6 Haunted Harvest (all ages)
Wednesday, Oct. 29, 4-7:30 p.m.
Free and open to the public.
Centennial Hills Library, 6711 N. Buffalo Drive
There will be mayhem and mystery at the haunted manor. Guests will investigate the murder of two victims with Detective Finn Fox. Everything you need to find the killer will be provided (while supplies last). Solve the mystery and be entered to win the grand prize of WHO DONE IT! Come in your best detective or Victorian wear and let the hunt begin! Don't want to play detective? No problem. There also will be a haunted conservatory maze, creepy crafts, movies with a ghost, trunk-or-treating and face painting. Space and supplies are on a first-come, first-served basis and may be limited. Cimarron Rose Spooktacular Halloween

Bring the family in costume for an evening of Halloween fun. Children walking to age 12 will enjoy safe trunk-or-treating, carnival games, bounce houses and a movie in the park. Trunk-or-treating will start at 5:30 p.m. in the adjacent Lieburn Active Adult Center parking lot.
Third Annual Fall Festival (all ages)
Thursday, Oct. 30, 5-8 p.m.

Bring the family and friends in costume to enjoy a community celebration with a pumpkin patch, special performances by the center’s classes, free train ride, festive games, music, crafts, costumes, plus plenty of community vendors providing resources and candy.
