The city of Las Vegas Public Art Program is soliciting Statements of Qualifications in order to allow new additions to the existing list of pre-qualified sculptors and fabricators. The city may select artists from this list for upcoming sculpture projects. Artists selected for this pre-qualified list will be eligible for consideration for upcoming city of Las Vegas sculpture projects across the city. The list will be valid for approximately three years. Organizations interested in becoming tenants at the Historic Fifth Street School should submit a tenancy interest form. The Historic Fifth Street School is envisioned as a vibrant home for arts and culture organizations whose missions center creativity, community engagement, education, and public benefit. We are particularly interested in organizations that will activate the space with regular programming and contribute to the building’s established arts and cultural ecosystem. Spaces are priced at $2 per square foot plus quarterly Common Area Maintenance (CAM) fees, however there may be instances where rent is reduced in exchange for complimentary public programming. Tenant interest submissions will be reviewed on a rolling basis by City staff using a structured evaluation process that prioritizes arts and culture alignment, community impact, and stewardship of this historic civic asset.
