A new hotel adds to the Arts District vibe in beautiful downtown Las Vegas.
Celebrity Chef Todd English officially opened the English Hotel, his upscale hotel and restaurant at Main Street and Coolidge, with a soft opening Feb. 22, 2022, that’s 2-22-22!
The hotel is the first and only boutique hotel in the Arts District. The eclectic spot of the four-story, 74-room luxury hotel is designed for guests that are looking to escape The Strip without straying too far.
“We are just 10 easy blocks from downtown,” said General Manager Steve Dennis. “And The English Hotel is just an Uber ride away from your favorite casino on The Strip.”
Some of the adult-only, pet-friendly hotel amenities include an intimate pool area with 11 suites that open directly to the pool, welcoming guests to relax and take in the vibe.
The bright stylish rooms can be easily adapted for business or pleasure with advance notice to the hotel’s staff. Each of the rooms has a floor-to-ceiling glass wall, beverage carts, a huge screen TV and showers with translucent glass walls.
“So at some point the shower walls are huge mirrors,” says Dennis. “And then, depending on the light, the shower walls become translucent, turning the room into a showroom.”
The hotel also offers an onsite Japanese-Mediterranean fusion restaurant, The Pepper Club, named after the chef’s dog. “I love the support from Las Vegas for what I do,” said Chef Todd English. “I’ve seen this town turn from the $9.99 buffet into a culinary destination. Now Las Vegas has every chef from around the world. This is a great dining town.”
When you check into the hotel, the staff will likely know exactly who you are when you arrive -- one of the benefits of a place that will only see 74 check-ins on its busiest day.
The non-gaming property will not charge a resort fee and is part of the Marriott Tribute portfolio.
