If you are a tenant living in a multi-family unit in the city of Las Vegas, like an apartment complex or hotel, and are experiencing any issues in your building that you think are health and safety related, please reach out to our city team. Our Code Enforcement and Fire Prevention teams are ready to help.
Code Enforcement is open during business hours (Monday-Thursday 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.), and you can submit complaints by calling 702-229-6615 or by emailing CodeEnforcement@lasvegasnevada.gov. For concerns that happen after hours or on weekends, and that require a more immediate response, please call 702-229-6444. Some of the types of things Code Enforcement works to address are: dangerous buildings, substandard housing, trash, illegal structures, no heat, and more.
Our fire prevention division also is ready to respond to any tenant who has fire safety concerns, and your complaint can be anonymous. Call Fire Prevention at 702-229-0366 or email LVFirePrevention@lasvegasnevada.gov. Hours of operation are Monday-Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Our Office of Community Services can also help with housing. The safety of our residents is important to the city and we need to hear from you if you are experiencing any issues.
