We are hiring for a Right-of-Way Agent through September 6.
The Right-of-Way Agent acquires property for rights-of-way for major city projects, prepares offers for the purchase, sale or lease of city-owned property and prepares legal documents necessary to process right-of-way acquisitions.
Major city projects that are in the planning stages include a pedestrian bridge at Sahara and Las Vegas Boulevard, pedestrian safety projects including safe routes near neighborhood schools and improvements to streets in the Las Vegas Medical District.
The pay for this position starts at $32.10 hourly and goes up to $45.17 as steps and increases are earned annually.
Right-of-way, real estate, contract negotiation and appraisal experience is a plus.
