ShareDOWNTOWN recently broke ground on its third residential apartment community. Located in the Historic Westside neighborhood, this third shareDOWNTOWN project is scheduled to open in 2026 at the northeast corner of D and Jefferson streets.
Cherry Development launched the shareDOWNTOWN apartment brand to create more residential housing options in downtown Las Vegas and to foster a collaborative, connected community among its residents and neighbors. The first shareDOWNTOWN building opened in the 18b Las Vegas Arts District with 63 units in 2020, and the second with 84 units in Fremont East opened in 2023.
ShareDOWNTOWN Westside will be a five-story building with 104 residential units. The main apartment building features more than 8,400 square-feet of ground floor retail space, much of which will be leased by the city of Las Vegas for a business incubator program. Cherry Development will also build an adjacent 6,200 square-foot market hall that the city of Las Vegas will use to support start up food and beverage businesses.
Like the other shareDOWNTOWN buildings, the Historic Westside location will incorporate local works of art as well as items that were salvaged from the New Jerusalem Church, which previously occupied the site.
ShareDOWNTOWN Westside apartment units will feature a uniform floor plan encompassing nearly 500 square-feet and featuring modern design elements. The building will offer shared public spaces such as an open-air courtyard and the HQ, a free workspace with private conference room, wireless printer/scanner and more. shareDOWNTOWN also offers enhanced security with keyless front door locks, key fob main entry, fully secured garage and remotely monitored cameras.
