This is Ward 3

Ward 3 is home to the 18B Las Vegas Arts District, much of downtown and many East Las Vegas neighborhoods.

Ward 3 includes the popular 18b Las Vegas Arts District and the Gateway District. Roughly bound by Nellis Boulevard, Interstate 15 (I-15) and Owens and Sahara avenues. This location also includes an area south of Sahara and west of I-15 that is home to the very popular Area 15 experience, which is expending to include a Universal Studios horror attraction.Aera 15 already includes the Meow Wolf art instalation known as Omega Mart.

Much of Ward 3 is included in the city's Redevelopment Area, making it a prime spot for new development and business. The Redevelopment Agency (RDA) was created in 1986 to revitalize downtown Las Vegas and the surrounding commercial districts. The RDA works with developers, property owners and the community to recruit businesses, create new jobs, eliminate blight and diversify the economy.

This area is also home to the Arts District where galleries, restaurants, breweries, antique shops and unique retail abound, creating an authentic look at the Las Vegas beyond the neon. This district includes the much-photographed Gateway Arches into the city as well as the huge showgirl neon sign that is an Instagram sensation.

The East Las Vegas area has a large Latino population with deep roots to the community, as well as many small businesses and neighborhoods. The Fremont East Entertainment District is the epicenter of cool vintage Vegas vibes with bars, clubs and restaurants as well as unique shops and the Container Park where one can experience a fire-breathing praying mantis sculpture.
